PARTNERING WITH A CHARITY WHO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Improving the lives of tea workers is at the core of our mission. That is why we are proud to partner with Tea Leaf Trust, raising funds for their life changing educational centres in tea estate communities.
Good Vibes Tea feels strongly about making changes to the tea industry and therefore will be donating 15% of our profits to the Tea Leaf trust, along with fundraising to help support the workers of the tea plantations.
The Tea Leaf Trust work hard to deliver high quality, accessible educational programmes both full and part time to young people and children from the tea estates surrounding the Maskeliya area of Central Province, Sri Lanka to help them improve their employability. One of the main ways to create change is to improve the employability of youth and choice of employment options outside the tea estates by facilitating the development of high-standard English language skills and professionalism.
From the fantastic work achieved by the Tea Leaf Trust so far, nearly 90,000 people have benefitted from their initiatives.
